One of the most special moments of the gathering was the appointment of honorary members and\u00a0<strong>the presentation of the 10th Euro-Toques Commitment Award to ITREM<\/strong>. As in every edition,\u00a0<strong>topics as crucial to the sector as labour challenges, culinary training and sustainability were addressed.<\/strong>\u00a0During this gathering,\u00a0<strong>very special recognitions were awarded for the organisation, including honorary membership to journalist Pepa Fern\u00e1ndez and food critic Paco L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, who have long supported the country\u2019s gastronomy.\u00a0<strong>The work of the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia was also recognised with the 10th Euro-Toques Commitment Award<\/strong>, since in addition to supporting the sector,\u00a0<strong>it played a key role in 2024 during the DANA storms by serving as a home for many chefs and helping support the affected area.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>AQUANARIA ACCOMPANIES EURO-TOQUES AT ITS 14TH ASSEMBLY<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the key focus of the meeting was the celebration of its biennial assembly,\u00a0<strong>attendees were also able to enjoy the gastronomy of the region in a relaxed setting during the three-day event.<\/strong>\u00a0The regional delegate of Euro-Toques and chef of the restaurant Eszencia,\u00a0<strong>Pablo Mart\u00ednez, explained that his objective for the gathering was \u201cto showcase our traditions and what we have experienced since childhood through gastronomy.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0He did so from the very start with the welcome cocktail held at his restaurant by the port of Cartagena.\u00a0<strong>In that fantastic setting, attendees were able to sample his dish of aged and smoked Aquanaria sea bass, served with a \u00f1ora pepper sauce.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"22076\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aquanaria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_3917.heic\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22076\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"22081\" src=\"https:\/\/www.aquanaria.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG_9777.heic\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22081\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Official Commemorative Lunch for the Assembly and the 40 years of Euro-Toques took place at the wonderful Finca La Herencia.\u00a0<\/strong>A beautiful venue that all attendees greatly enjoyed thanks to the fine weather throughout the day.\u00a0<strong>They were also able to try ceviche and nigiri made with Aquanaria sea bass at the table we hosted during the pre-lunch cocktail reception.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>AQUANARIA&#8217;S COMMITMENT<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For Aquanaria, accompanying chefs at this type of gathering is a great opportunity to understand the concerns of the sector and learn from cooks committed to improving the gastronomy industry<\/strong>.
